Chiropractic care at CorePoint is built around one long, unhurried appointment at a time. Your first visit is a full hour with Dr. Tina Navarifar, costs $240, and includes a complete health history, a physical exam, and treatment the same day when it is appropriate. Follow-up visits are 45 minutes and cost $150.

There is no one else here to hand you off to. Dr. Navarifar is a solo practitioner, so the person who takes your history is the same person who examines you, treats you, and sees you at every visit after. If you are used to ten minute chiropractic visits in a busy open room, this is a different kind of practice.

What happens in the first hour

The first ten minutes are conversation, not treatment. Where the pain is, when it started, what makes it better or worse, what you have already tried, and what you actually want to get back to, whether that is sleeping through the night or lifting a toddler without bracing for it.

Then comes the exam. Dr. Navarifar checks how your spine and joints move, tests strength and range of motion, and runs orthopedic and neurological screens where they make sense for your case. She explains what she finds in plain language before anything else happens. If she does not think chiropractic is the right tool for your problem, she will tell you that too.

When same day treatment is appropriate, it happens on a padded chiropractic table. Most adjustments involve a specific, quick, controlled push on a joint that is not moving well. You may hear a popping sound. That sound is gas releasing inside the joint, not bone, and it is not the measure of whether an adjustment worked.

Hands-on care, not a quick crack

Dr. Navarifar was a licensed massage therapist for more than ten years before she earned her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Southern California University of Health Sciences in December 2019. That history shows up in the treatment room. Expect real work on the muscles around a restricted joint, not only the adjustment itself.

If the idea of the pop makes you tense, say so. There are slower, gentler ways to work, and a treatment you are braced against is a treatment working uphill. Plenty of patients start out cautious and settle once they feel how deliberate the pace is.

What chiropractic is commonly used for

Chiropractic care is commonly used for back pain, neck pain, headaches that start at the base of the skull, and sciatica type pain that runs into the hip or leg. Many patients find that it helps them move, work, and sleep more comfortably.

None of it comes with a promised outcome or a prewritten plan of dozens of visits. Your response is reassessed at every appointment, and the plan changes when your body does.

Pricing, plainly

Every chiropractic price here is published, and the clinic bills insurance directly. The initial chiropractic appointment is one hour and costs $240. Follow-ups are 45 minutes and cost $150. Those are the only two chiropractic prices, and nothing is added to them at the desk; if you are using a plan, call (949) 377-4707 with the details first so your own coverage is checked rather than assumed. (Herbal formulas, which belong to the acupuncture side of the practice, are the one thing carrying a separate cost. Dr. Navarifar dispenses them herself and prices them per formula, quoted before you buy.)

If you need to cancel, the clinic asks for 24 hours of notice. In a solo practice, a missed hour cannot be covered by another provider, and an hour released at the last minute usually goes unused rather than to another patient.

How chiropractic pairs with other care here

Dr. Navarifar holds two doctorates: the Doctor of Chiropractic mentioned above and a Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine, completed at SCU Health Sciences in 2024. A clinician trained to doctorate level in both systems is genuinely uncommon, and it changes what a course of care can look like.

In practice, that means an adjustment can be followed by acupuncture in the same clinic, from the same hands, when it fits your case. Massage therapy is available too, either as its own appointment or as groundwork for a stubborn area before it is adjusted. Combinations happen when they make clinical sense and you want them, not because a menu suggested them.

What to wear and how to prepare

Wear clothes you can move in. Gym clothes are ideal, soft joggers and a t-shirt work fine, and stiff jeans or a fitted dress will fight you on the table.

If you want to know exactly what the visit will ask of you before you arrive, call (949) 377-4707 and ask. Dr. Navarifar answers the clinic phone herself, so the person describing the appointment is the one who will be treating you, and no question about a first visit is too small for that call.

Bring a list of your medications, and any recent imaging reports if you have them. If you do not have imaging, do not worry. Most people do not need it to start care, and Dr. Navarifar will say so directly if your exam suggests otherwise.

What the day after feels like

Some soreness after a first adjustment is common and usually feels like the day after a new workout. It typically settles within a day or so, and most people go straight back to their normal routine. Before you leave the room, you can ask exactly what to expect from the specific treatment you received.

If anything feels off between visits, call the clinic at (949) 377-4707 and describe what changed.
